Bus services are extensive, routes 20-89 serve the entire the city centre, while bus 60 runs directly from the port to the centre of Oslo.

Car Hire and Road Travel


The E6 is Norway's principal north to south road, and leads north to Trondheim, Alta and Kirkenes. The E16 will take you to Bergen in the west of Norway, the E134 leads to Haugesund and the E18 leads southwest to Kristiansand and Drammen.

Trains and Rail Travel


The Norwegian State railway has trains running to numerous destinations along Norway's southern coast only. The central railway station, Oslo Sentralstasjon, T-bane Jernbanetorget can be found in the centre of the city.

Car Parking


There is both short-term and long-term parking available at the port. Dedicated parking spaces are available for travellers with disabilities. There is an hourly charge for the short term parking, tickets are issued on arrival and payable at the booths upon exit. Long term parking can also be arranged on-site but pre-booking (online) guarantees availability and better prices.
