Port of Oslo

Harbour Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Oslo, Oslo, Norway)

Oslo is the oldest of all of the Scandinavian capitals and is awash with history and culture. The city is surrounded by two forests, the Oslomarka and Nordmarka, and is situated on Oslofjord, a bay in southeast Norway. Its location makes the capital city a very picturesque place to be. Oslo's large port connects the city to destinations in Denmark and Germany.

Terminal facilities are limited but include a coffee shop and a small departures hall. Bars and restaurants are located very close to the terminal building.

Three ferry operators service the port: DFDS Seaways, Color Line and Stena Line.

All vessels provide amenities for disabled passengers such as disabled friendly toilets and wheelchair access throughout the terminal. If you require assistance at the port or on the ferry, you should inform the ferry operator at the time of booking.

Ferry Services

DFDS Seaways operates one daily sailing between Oslo and Copenhagen. Crossing time is approximately 16 hours. Color Line offers six weekly sailings to Kiel in Germany with a journey time of 19 hours, 30 minutes.

The company also provides six crossings a week to Hirtshals in Denmark with a crossing time of approximately 10 hours. Stena Line operates a daily sailing between Oslo and Frederikshavn in Denmark. The journey takes about 8 hours, 30 minutes.
